Jesus Christ. Well past time to get off the internet for today, methinks. (Which, you know, might be a valid first step to getting laid more, in case you're one of these men who seem to need written instructions).

"But machines will never be able to give the thinking process a model of thought itself, since machines are not mortal. What gives humans access to the symbolic domain of value and meaning is the fact that we die."

This quote comes around and haunts me every decade or so.

Revolution in the Revolution
In the '60s, Regis Debray fought beside Che Guevara in Bolivia. Today, his obsession isn't ideology- it's "mediology."

None of these are even in my top 10. And Lost sucks, I will hear nothing different (that show is rudderless bullshit from episode 1, fight me). Better Call Saul is better than all of these. So is BoJack Horseman. So is Mad Men. So is The Haunting of Hill House. Hell, even Ted Lasso despite season 2.

Take away all the GOAT candidates: The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Lost.

What’s the best show outside of that group?
