I’ll be appearing in the upcoming anthology Qualia Nous 2 from Written Backwards and Michael Bailey. This is a dream come true, not only to work with Michael (who you may already know from the popular Chiral Mad anthologies), but to appear alongside such illustrious company as Stephen King, Chuck Palahniuk, and Gabino Iglesias, to name but a few. Can say Doom: The Dark Ages is a great game now I'm done, but my least favorite of the modern trilogy. Feels slick but the more repetitive nature of the parry-heavy combat simply can't be as compelling as Eternal or 2016. Subpar music, amazing setpieces, you can use 1 gun the whole time if you want.

I keep going up and down on Doom: The Dark Ages. The Cosmic Realm maps are stellar. I'm hoping to finish my initial run tonight. Seems to start strong after a slowish ramp-up, slump a bit in the middle, then rev up approaching the end. Fingers crossed it sticks the landing!
